Loved ones gather, each one with something to add to the feast.
Silent thanks for the food. Quieter still once we dig in.
Memories made, naps taken, settled in for the evening with a plate of snacks that will see us through to bedtime…thanks were given in may ways, some with words, some with a kiss, some with a favorite dish.
And that’s the loveliest thing about gratitude: it takes many forms, and means many things. But the sense of gratitude is the same, transcending any timeframe.
